Down East Peanuts started in 1996 and grew to become a well-known and loved producer of quality peanuts in Scotland Neck, North Carolina, located near the east coast. Each and every peanut they produce is fresh roasted and hand made. Midtown Olive Press offers Honey Roasted, Salted, and Hot & Spicy. Another benefit of purchasing Down East Peanuts is a portion of the proceeds go to Down East Animal Refuge, a no kill shelter on the Down East farm in Scotland Neck.
